Collection: "RAKU" line

Raku is an ancient technique of Japanese origin, it literally means "joy of living".

The still incandescent object is removed from the kiln and enclosed in a metal container containing combustible material (leaves, newspapers, sawdust, etc.) which causes the so-called reduction. It is then immersed in water and cleaned of any signs of combustion to bring out the iridescence and brilliance of the enamels.
